A real market-neutral edge that funds actually run: on crypto perpetual futures, one side pays the other a small funding fee every ~8 hours. You hold the asset and short the perp (or the reverse) so price risk cancels out and you just collect the fee — historically ~5–12%/yr with low drawdown while funding stays positive. Why it's roadmap, not live: it needs a perpetual-futures venue, and the big ones (Binance/Bybit) block US users while US-licensed venues offer limited retail access — and it's not a fit for tiny $20–50 test accounts. 💸 Fees & slippage: bot results are already net of the venue's fee. Real fills differ slightly from the backtest (slippage), so expect to run a bit under the historical numbers. Kalshi's fee is small; spot crypto (Coinbase/Kraken) is ~0.4–0.6%/trade, which eats fast-timeframe edges — size accordingly.

📕 What the words mean — tap to open
📝 Paper = practice mode. Fake money, real prices. You can't lose a cent — always start here. 🔴 Live = real money from your linked Kalshi account. Only after you've practiced. Running = bot is on and betting. Stopped (inactive) = paused, doing nothing. Martingale = bets up/down each round; on a loss it doubles the next bet to recover. Higher risk, higher fees. Endgame = only bets the last few minutes of a round where our data shows an edge. Flat bets, never doubles. Lower risk, lower fees. Up / Down / Reversal = which way it bets. Up = always up, Down = always down, Reversal = wait for a losing streak then bet the other way. First bet $ = dollars risked on bet #1. Stop-loss = bot shuts off after losing this many dollars. Max-bet cap (%) = a doubled bet can never exceed this share of your balance (default 25%). Martingale bets right at the window open (≈50/50) — waiting in means overpaying, where fees bleed you; Endgame is the wait-for-the-edge play. Managing bots: in the bot list you can filter (system, status, Live/Paper), sort by profit or loss, and Start / Stop / Delete several at once with the checkboxes. Deleting keeps the trade history.
📊 What our live data says (updates as we learn)
• Endgame is the only proven edge — flat bets, auto up/down, ~84% win where it holds (HYPE, NEAR, ETH strongest live). Crypto-only for now.
• Reversal / martingale has no proven edge and the worst blow-up tail — the low-end coins we once thought were safe were actually the worst (ZEC 34%, BNB 41%). It can win most bets and still lose money on one streak. A toy, not income.
• Up / Down are coin flips (~50%) — no edge, just the day's drift.
• Active hours 9a–9p trade best; overnight has the deepest blow-ups — use the "Run during" time blocks.
• Always keep the cap and a stop-loss on. Never run UP and DOWN on the same coin — one side always bleeds.

At open (50/50): only bets the first ~90 sec at ~50¢ and skips the window if the price ran away — the one price where doubling can recover a loss. Auto: bets every window at any price. Neither beats the fee; this only controls entry. (Wait-for-the-edge = Endgame.)
First bet $ = the dollar amount you risk on bet #1 (the bot converts it to contracts at the live price, then doubles after a loss). Stop-loss halts this bot once its total losses hit that dollar figure (0 = off; note it can cut a recovery short). Max-bet cap never lets a doubled bet cost more than that share of your real balance — if it would, the bot resets to the first bet instead of locking up. Same live engine already trading in your account. Gold/Silver/Oil aren't offered as 15-min markets.
📉 Real data: overnight (9p–9a) lost −$1,900+ across our live accounts vs about flat in the day. Even the edge runs best in Active 9a–9p.
Scale-in: while the price is still in the edge pocket (≤88¢), the bot keeps adding to the same side (up to Max adds) — growing your stake in the +EV zone. It stops adding the moment the price climbs past 82¢, so it never overpays. More exposure to the edge, no buying-high.
Endgame edge (data-backed): fires only in the sweet spot found across 51k samples — 10–5 min left AND the real price is 0.15–0.30% past the strike (decisive, but not yet fully priced by Kalshi). That band won ~91% at ~87¢ = ~+2% after fees. It buys the favored side flat (no doubling). Buying earlier (coin-flip) or later (overpay) loses, so it waits for that exact window. Starts in PAPER to confirm the edge survives real fills before any real money.

The honest truth on Martingale (what we proved this week): doubling after a loss is not a guaranteed winner — a losing streak longer than your bankroll can cover wipes it out, and Bitcoin has run 16 one way. The trick is a tiny bet vs a big bankroll: about $1 per $10,000 survived 4+ years of real data without busting and made money (~15–20%/yr). Bigger bets look exciting but bust. The Marti page calculates your safe number — use it, and let winnings grow the bankroll for extra cushion.

💻 Best setup & staying safe
Where to run it: use it on a desktop/laptop for setting up bots and linking accounts; your phone is perfect as a monitor (check positions, get alerts, hit the kill-switch). Which venues to link: stick to US-licensed platforms — Coinbase, Kraken, Kalshi. They serve US users properly, so everything just works and your money is legally protected. About VPNs (important): a VPN for general privacy is fine. But never use a VPN to get into an exchange that blocks US users (like Binance or Bybit) — it breaks their rules, and if your account gets frozen you'd have no legal way to get your money back. Use the licensed venues above and you never need to. Keys: only ever use trade-only API keys (no withdrawal access). Marty never holds your money — it's non-custodial. Your keys are encrypted; nobody else can see them.

The #1 thing: follow BIG line moves
When a point spread moves 4+ points, betting the side the line moved toward hit ~59%; 5+ points hit ~67%. Small moves (1–2 pts) are coin flips — skip them. That's the core edge, proven on 859 games.
Bull vs bear (why it matters)
In a bull market, buying dips on index ETFs (QQQ/SPY) wins ~56%. In a bear market that same play is a coin flip. The app tells you which regime we're in and only turns on plays that fit it.

1) Bot tab. 2) Pick sport + bet type. 3) Set the line-move size (start at 4+). 4) Pick "steam side". 5) Check the hit rate turns green. 6) Choose Flat staking + a stop-loss. 7) Save in paper mode. It bets matching games with fake money so you can watch it work first.
